Jacque’ Inc., was established in 1995 initially as a privately held day spa and since 2006 has advanced to total health wellness services in a spa setting. Dr. Jacqueline Small, Physician Associate is educated and trained in aesthetics, holistic pain management, wellness care, and psychiatry with over 17 years of medical experience and 23 years of aesthetics experience.

She is a licensed esthetician, and massage therapist, and has a fellowship in psychiatry. Dr. Small serves in the United States Army Reserves, holding the rank of Major as a primary care medical officer since 2010. We also collaborate with Dr. Valorea Williams, NP, a primary care and functional medicine practitioner with over 25 years of medical experience.

Our services include wrinkle reduction, supervised weight loss, IV nutrient infusion; laser hair and lesions removal, and holistic muscle strain/spasms relief.

Evidence-based studies have shown that aesthetics and behavioral health have a significant correlation because some depressive symptoms and social anxiety may be due to an individual’s perception of their physical appearance. These symptoms are usually self-limiting and will resolve in time or can be managed using CBT or MI techniques from a knowledgeable therapist. However, if needed, low-dose antidepressants and anti-anxiety medications may be prescribed here in a comfortable spa setting. Therefore, we believe that an aesthetic provider with education and training in psychiatry has an advantage in understanding a client’s aesthetic needs and providing the best options.
